About Rick Denton

I've been in the Mortgage Business since 1997. I started as an accountant and transitioned to management over the first 3 years. I began originating full time in in Arizona and moved back to Illinois in 2004 where I continued originating until getting back into the management side of the business. Just in time for 2008 to arrive! After weathering that storm, it was a wonderful 13 years in our industry. The Pandemic brought on new challenges but it was an amazing period for interest rates. Now.not so much! Since mid 2022, management has been quite the challenge. Higher rates and low inventory have made it necessary to think outside the box. It's been a learning experience, even after all these years doing the job. I look forward to finding ways for Great Mortgage to remain competitive, gain market-share and help our clients achieve the dream of homeownership.
