About Rick Foley

I began my career with the OPP in and have held various roles including frontline Constable and Sergeant. I have a significant background in Traffic and was an Intoxilyzer Technician, Technical Traffic Collision Investigator, RADAR/LIDAR Instructor and Motorcycle Officer and Instructor. I was a member of the Golden Helmets Precision Motorcycle Riding Team for six years. I worked for several years in the OPP's Wellness Unit and Healthy Workforce Team. I was the North East Region Peer Support Team Lead for three years, before I became the Provincial Coordinator (Staff Sergeant) for the Peer Support Team. I have held assignments as the Kirkland Lake Detachment Commander, Manager of Business and Finance, North East Region and am currently the Inspector of Operation Support in North East Region. My portfolio includes our Emergency Response Team, Emergency Management, Provincial Liaison Team, Indigenous relations, Media, Community Safety, and Facilities. I am a designated Critical Incident Commander and Public Order Commander.
