Background
About Rick Hughey
Strategic brand and channel leader with 20+ years of experience driving growth across retail, franchise, and independent networks. Most recently led a $600M+ national retail program at La-Z-Boy, overseeing 150+ stores, driving design sales performance, and aligning marketing, field ops, and merchandising to scale results. I specialize in building bridges between field teams and corporate strategy, simplifying complexity, and translating vision into measurable outcomes. From market expansions to KPI simplification and brand consistency across 37 dealer groups, I’ve learned that execution thrives on clarity, trust, and data that actually matters. Based in Greenville, SC and always open to conversations about consumer-driven innovation, brand strategy, or how to lead with both humility and impact.
