About Rick Johnson

Rick is the Chief Operating Officer at Frankfurt Short Bruza Associates (FSB), the largest locally owned architectural and engineering firm in Oklahoma City. As COO he is responsible at the corporate level for the firm's performance, profitability, resource development, and risk management. Rick is a thirty-eight year veteran of the architectural industry. He joined FSB in 1991, serving the firm for many years as a Project Manager, primarily in the Federal and Commercial markets. In the mid 1990’s he implemented and directed the firm’s Information Systems department. For ten years he served as the coordinating manager of production, responsible for progress oversight of all the firm’s projects. During that time he developed the firm’s internal production management system that is still in use today. Prior to being named COO in October of 2014, Rick was the Director of Federal Programs, responsible for project execution, business development, and client relations for Department of Defense (DoD) clients. Rick has been involved in projects across the US for more than two decades, providing leadership and management for all types of facilities typically found on military installations. Rick was an early advocate of energy saving design, becoming a LEED accredited professional in 2003.
