About Rick Lee

As an experienced education professional, I have a proven track record of leading and managing educational institutions to achieve excellence in all subjects. I have a Master of Education from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of California, Riverside. In my most recent admin role as Vice Principal at Norwegian International School - Hong Kong, I reported directly to the school principal and ensured school-wide excellence in all subjects, including Chinese, PE, and Music. I used school-wide student assessment and achievement to analyze appropriate data and benchmarks to improve quality of teaching and learning. I also researched, sourced, and led professional development opportunities for teaching staff, developed, implemented, and evaluated outcomes of decisions made by the school, discussed and monitored budgets in areas of responsibility, assisted in line management and performance management of staff, and supported initiatives. I am passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students and staff, and I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges. I am currently working as an elementary school teacher in Vancouver, Canada as I navigate and learn the British Colombian curriculum.
