About Rick Norris

I have been in the customer service industry for almost 20 years and in the tech industry side of that for over 15. Throughout all those years of experience, I have come to realize that people not only look for a person who can help fix their issue, but someone who is willing to take the time and explain why the issue happens and how they can prevent it from happening again. People don't want just an easy fix all the time, they want to know how to fix it themselves if it happens again. This is why I don't just fix a problem, I try to educate the customer if they are willing to learn. For most people, this gives them a great sense of accomplishment. Every job I have had, I have always been asked to train someone or become a trainer for the company, and I have enjoyed every bit of it just to see in the students eyes when they get that "Ah Ha" moment and they understand. The main thing I try to get them to learn is to unleash your imagination and put your creativity to the test. You never know what you might come up with. I am a person who is constantly learning and loving every bit of it. I love a challenge and look at it as a new adventure. I have a big interest in cyber-security and computer forensics. I have been told recently that I bring a cohesiveness to any team I work with that helps raise their moral and productivity.
