About Rick Paler

Mr. Paler began his investment career in 1988. He has worked primarily with wealthy individuals and professional athletes in the areas of investment management and asset allocation, financial planning, estate planning, and tax planning. Mr. Paler has over 32 years of investment industry experience and is a Registered Investment Advisor. He is intimately experienced with advanced investment management techniques, employee stock options, concentrated positions and the issues affluent families face. Mr. Paler founded RL Paler Investment Advisors, LLC with one idea in mind – To provide the highest quality wealth management services for affluent families, without the inherent conflict of interest associated with Wall Street firms. The company offers performance-driven fee-based money management services to a select clientele. His responsibilities include overall investment strategy, investment analysis, and regular personal communication with all the firm’s clients. Because of his expertise, he has been interviewed on several occasions by both the print and television media. Mr. Paler also was a regular columnist for the Tracy Press writing an investment column. Mr. Paler graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree. While attending Eastern Michigan University, he was on a full scholarship and played football. Mr. Paler is married and has two children. He is a firm believer in giving back to the community. He is a past President of the Rotary Club of Waterford and the Rotary Club of Tracy. He is a student athlete mentor with the E-Gridiron Group and a STRIVE student mentor for disadvantaged students. Mr. Paler is a Paul Harris Fellow and has received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition. Mr. Paler coaches little league football, basketball, baseball and organizes the annual Pitch, Hit & Run competition for the community of Waterford MI.
