About Rick Parikh

As a Mechatronics Engineering student at McMaster University, I am passionate about applying my engineering skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems. I have completed two co-op terms at Magna International and Collins Aerospace, where I gained hands-on experience in manufacturing automation, product development, and quality assurance. At Magna, I collaborated with cross-functional teams on projects that led to annual savings of performed root-cause analysis on over 200 warranty parts, and led the migration of all process control documents to new software. At Collins, I worked on a continuous improvement project that involved revamping and digitizing all technique sheets, SOPs, and work instructions for the machine shop. I am eager to pursue new opportunities to further develop my engineering and leadership skills, and to contribute to the success of innovative and impactful companies.
