Across my career as an experienced lawyer and senior executive, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in a number of positions that covered many aspects of corporate and organizational functions and responsibilities. With a strong business acumen in structuring complex business deals and mitigating risk for growing start-up firms and established organizations, I approached each of these positions with a concerted effort to provide fresh and innovative solutions to problems or challenges. After my move from the West Coast to the DFW metroplex, I founded a business management consultancy and a corporate law practice, playing a key leadership role in launching online media platforms and renewable energy companies. My business consulting practice has focused on covering key growth strategies such as identifying marketplace opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and creating and implementing effective brand marketing and sales plans. My corporate law practice has involved oversight of legal and business issues that included all contractual matters relating to engineering, design, production, distribution, marketing, sales, operations, intellectual property, social media regulations, and human resources, as well as corporate governance and business policy. During my entertainment career with some of Hollywood’s biggest studios, I strived to serve as a corporate change catalyst with a reputation for delivering market growth, increasing revenue, and improving corporate cultures. This work included analyzing new market opportunities, developing innovative marketing and sales plans, and implementing go-to-market strategies that exceeded projections and generated new revenue. Examples of career highlights with Warner Bros: Developing and launching the movie industry’s first-ever Targeted Marketing department. Building and leading a 65-person team across FTEs and advertising, marketing, and PR agency partners. Leading targeted marketing to drive revenue growth for over 100 movie releases as the SVP, Targeted Marketing for Warner Bros Pictures. Earning high-value strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 brands, national organizations, and community/educational institutions.
