About Rick Sharon

At BNSF Railway I developed data designs, ETL processing, reporting and Dashboards for their Detector Analytics and Engineering Asset Management Systems. I developed a software performance analysis and "Prospector" analytical tool that helped Sabre, Inc. save 6-8 million dollars per year for several consecutive years. I created and executed the marketing plan for the 2007 Toastmasters Region conference, which spanned 9 states and 1100+ Toastmasters Clubs. The results: year over year attendance increased by 30%. I developed software to automate diagnosis and remediation of the Year conversion and was able to use it to save thousands of hours of conversion labor at Sabre, Inc. I helped a Sabre Inc. project team reengineer and refactor software supporting pay plans and profit sharing plans. Through aggressive generalization and reuse of components, I was able to reduce software inventory for those applications from: components ALL needing changes EVERY year to: about 100 comparable shared components with only about 10 needing changes each year. Doing so massively reduced their software maintenance labor. Throughout my 30+ year career in Information Technology and Business, I have read at least 1-2 books per month pertaining to Information Technology, Business Best Practices, Marketing, Personal Self Development, and a variety of other business related subjects. I have studied literally hundreds of Audio CDs and DVDs in those areas. I have been exposed to paradigms that have had profound impact on me, my conduct of business, and on others. My goal is to help others learn and apply those paradigms to massively improve the conduct of their businesses and personal lives through my consulting practice, website, and products.
