About Rick Stephan

With 15+ years in digital marketing, I’ve built and led strategies that drive growth across paid media, web, and advertising across owned, earned and paid channels. My experience spans organizations like Microsoft, LoyaltyOne, and Moneris, where I’ve focused on performance marketing, UX, and digital communications—always with a bias towards measurable impact. At Moneris, I lead a team of subject matter experts responsible for digital advertising, marketing technology and channel optimization across the customer lifecycle. I’ve helped evolve our digital ecosystem to improve lead generation, increase brand visibility, and drive revenue - while keeping the customer experience at the core. I’ve earned recognition for high-impact work, including the Executive Leadership Gold Award for in-house media strategy and the MARCOM VP Award for outstanding achievement. I’ve also participated in leadership development and accelerator programs at Moneris and LoyaltyOne, strengthening my ability to lead at the senior level. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management from the University of Guelph and have completed multiple leadership and people management courses. I believe great marketing is equal parts data, empathy, and execution - and I build teams that reflect that.
