About Rick Summers

In today's fast tracked economy, there's no time to waste on workers who lack the necessary skills and motivation. Even amidst the greatest pandemic in modern American history, I am eager to hit the ground running. I am hard working man that is looking for a career in in construction or Project Management field. I am a leader by nature and enjoy communicating effectively with my team. I have excelled into senior maintenance planning roles for both government and public sectors. I am a graduate from Perry Technical Institute and maintained a stellar GPA. One would say I am also very computer and technology savvy, with the ability to troubleshoot many situations. I have experience in coding and creating Visual Basic through Excel. And highly proficient in all Microsoft office applications. In college, and at PCA, I was tasked to creat and manage project through MS Project, staffing, scheduling, budgeting and procurement of materials to streamline maintenance activities through out the annual shut downs we had quarterly for every system. Savvy in waterfall and Gannt charts and facilitating meetings with upper management. I was a DOE Qualified Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Planner for MSA with the Water Utilities group in Richland WA, and most recently Senior Level facility planner where I was Rad 2 trained including supplemental 324 contamination trained, and planned many construction and modification packages. A few of my certifications are I am OSHA-10 certified, 24 hour HAZWOPER cert CPR & First-aid certified, and am a licensed forklift operator both hard wheel and rough terrain. I am a Lean Sigma White Belt and ready to sit for my PMP. Application was approved prior to the beginning of this year, just awaiting restrictions to be lifted for a proctored exam. I am 24 credits away from my BS in Project Management, with taking 600 level masters courses.
