I have in-house experience as an IP and Commercial Contract attorney and law firm experience as an IP attorney with a deep background in all facets of IP. While in-house, I've handled a variety of corporate legal matters such as, but not limited to, preparing complex business contracts (MSAs, procurement, international shipping, marketing, MLS data feed, NDAs, SaaS, EULAs, medical device, hardware and software technology transfer and joint venture agreements), import and export compliance, privacy matters (GDRP and CCPA), tax incentive lobbying in several different states, complex licensing agreements for blockchain, artificial intelligence, aerospace and numerous other industries, managing outside counsel, and strategically developing robust IP portfolios (domestic and international) and counseling regarding same. In the law firm environment, I routinely counseled clients on patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret matters, IP licensing, patent post grant proceedings, patent and trademark appeals, accelerated patent examinations both domestically and internationally, patent and trademark virtual marking requirements, due diligence evaluations, clearance studies, infringement and patentability opinions, confidentiality agreements, and strategic IP portfolio development and management.
