About Rick Watson
I am a lover of all things aviation, with over 30 years of aviation experience on Fixed wing, Rotary and Simulator Aircraft. I am passionate about both Crewed and Un-crewed aircraft safety. I enjoyed a decade of being a Microlight Flight Instructor based at the Hauraki Aeroclub in Thames. My other passion is Radio and I have worked on multiple stations on both the Radio Network and Mediaworks airwaves as a Radio Announcer. I currently volunteer for the local Ashhurst Community Radio Station. I like to give back to the local community and I have been an active member of the Dannevirke, Palmerston North, Feilding and Thames Volunteer fire brigades over the past 30 years.
