About Rick Yates

During college in the early 80's worked for interior construction company in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area within the semi-conductor/computer industry. We built computer manufacturing facilities and clean rooms up to class 10. Duties included estimating and project management. Moved back to Alb. NM to join the family business. There obtained NM Licenses GB98 (General Construction) GF03 (Construction of underground water utilities and pumping stations) GS29 (Asbestos Abatement; necessary for cutting and containment of ACM pipe in which I developed a process and submitted to NM EPA for standard approval) NM Drillers License. In Alb. was project manager/estimator doing pump and related equipment selections. In early 90's became President of Alb. branch of Alpha Southwest Inc. In 1996 began to commute to El Paso TX. Within a year won the EPWU maintenance contract and moved to El Paso. The contract includes includes repair and maintenance on EPWU's water production facilities, select W.W. Pumps and Storm Water Pumps. Provide many associated mechanical and electrical equipment and heavy maintenance repair services in the municipal and industrial pump industry throughout NM and West TX
