Responsible for support and oversight of a group of highly skilled attorneys and paralegals charged with directing complex asbestos, pollution, and other latent liability coverage and reinsurance litigation and arbitration proceedings across the United States, the UK, and Canada. • Representative cases and arbitrations include long-tail asbestos, talc, PFAS/PFOA, sports head injury, sexual abuse, opioid, and other latent injury matters and emerging mass torts. • Our team provides coverage and litigation expertise to individuals and RiverStone on legal and strategic issues implicated in particular proceedings or which have company-wide implications. • Additional responsibilities include oversight, management, and coordination of business development opportunities, including: initial opportunity development and approach; initial pricing; due diligence review of claims, coverage, reserve, and reinsurance profiles; negotiation; documentation; regulatory approval; integration; and reporting. • Committed to supporting the development of each team member both technically and professionally, while serving as a mentor and leader to associates throughout the company. • Accountable for establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships with outside counsel, third-party administrators, and other vendors, while ensuring such relationships are cost effective and transparent within the company.
