About Ricki Hersburgh

Experienced business development/philanthropy professional with a demonstrated history of working in corporate and nonprofit sectors. Core capabilities include Stakeholder Management, Philanthropic Donor Stewardship, Marketing Strategist, Community Engagement and Sustainable Development. My love for our great Australian landscapes has always been at the core of my being, after eight years at the helm of an ocean focus with Plastic Oceans, it’s time to change things up a little with new opportunities on the horizon. Ricki was the lead for Plastic Oceans Australasia (POA). In the past several years, she has focused her career on driving environmental strategic behavior change initiatives through the generosity of donors, corporations, community groups and government entities, Ricki's is a passionate animal advocate recognizing the delicate balance between the planet's health, climate change and human activity. She has a diverse international background having held senior positions with WWF, Greening Australia, and Hilton International Hotels Group,(to name a few!). Ricki has various degrees in marketing, tourism, philanthropy and business management.
