About Ricki Tatz

Ricki began his career at EY as a member of the strategic advisory team housed within their performance improvement division. The team consulted leading SA companies from various industries on strategic, operational and structural initaitives. During his EY tenure, Ricki also assisted with strategic acquisitions. In 2013, Ricki joined AG Capital. He assumed a senior operations role focusing on the company's money management and broking divisions. While Ricki's primary role concerned operations, he was also heavily involved in product development, strategy implementation, compliance, legal drafting and administration and marketing. In mid-2014 Ricki was tasked with implementing and managing AG Capital’s international trading solution. During his time at AG Capital, he assisted other FSPs (two hedge funds as well as a wealth advisory business) within the broader group.In 2015 Ricki joined Consilium Capital as the strategic COO. His responsibilities included strategic planning, implementation, product development, legal drafting and management, programme management and marketing. In 2016 Consilium won SA's Top Stockbroker's Top CFD Provider and Best Advice-Based Broker through Ricki's initiatives. They further won the 2016 Batseta Imbasa Yegolide Award for Balanced Fund Manager of the Year.Ricki joined Sasfin Wealth in 2017 as the Head of Strategic Projects. Shortly thereafter he joined the executive team. In early 2018, Ricki's portfolio expanded to include product development and special projects. This was accompanied by a title change to Head of Strategy Implementation. His team won Support Unit of the Year in 2018, 2020 and 2025, and Ricki won Sasfin Group Strategic Value Contributor of the Year in 2019. In 2021, Ricki was appointed Chief Strategy Implementation Officer, responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives (including strategic investments, acquisitions and partnerships, as well as the incorporation of new businesses and the design and implementation of operating models), product development (including related special projects), marketing, and more recently AI optimisation. In 2018, Ricki was appointed the Chair of the Sasfin Wealth Product Selection Committee. In 2022, Ricki joined the DMA (previously Saxo Capital Markets SA) board as a Non-executive Director. He was appointed the Chair of the DMA Human Capital & Remuneration Committee in 2023.
