About Ricklen Tucker

I am a highly motivated psychology major at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, with a 3.86 GPA and extensive research experience. Through my work in academic research, I have developed strong skills in data collection, analysis, and translating complex findings into clear insights. These experiences have strengthened my attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to work independently and collaboratively. My professional strengths include empathy, resilience, and a commitment to understanding human behavior. I have applied these strengths while volunteering at camps for children in foster care, where I engaged with diverse youth populations, facilitated supportive activities, and contributed to a positive, structured learning environment. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a Master's of Social Work to apply research-informed approaches to support individuals and communities in meaningful ways. I am recognized for my dedication, strong work ethic, and ability to engage thoughtfully with diverse populations—qualities that define my professional approach and drive my commitment to mental health and social impact.
