I have been working in Group Protection for four years, and have recently been promoted to the role of Senior Administrator. I have developed my knowledge and skills of the products and industry, and I am highly skilled on Flex Group Protection products. I have also recently been working on Conventional Products. I am skilled on Excel, and have become very comfortable with working on complex sets of data. I am a key person within my team with regards to supporting colleagues with any complex queries. Prior to entering the insurance industry I worked in many varied roles, all of which were focused on customer service. I have a very polite, confident, and approachable manner, and I always strive to give the best journey for every customer. I always put the customer first when making decisions. I have carried out Systems Thinking projects, tackling system conditions and streamlining our working processes. I often lead team huddles, both to ensure the wellbeing of my team, and also to ensure that the team's service level is meeting or exceeding both the customers and our own expectations. I assist in running the team in my manager's absence, and I am a trusted and approachable member of the department. I also often lead training for new starters, and oversee their personal and professional development. I regularly liaise with platinum level brokers, and have close contact with senior consultants, account managers and business stakeholders to ensure that my team and I are working on the best outcome both for the customers and the business' needs. I am a champion for diversity and inclusion, and I work as my team's representative for Gender Identity and Recognition and Transgender Awareness. I strive to ensure that all my customers and colleagues have a safe space and are respected with regards to their gender identity.
