About Ricky Mannen

Nearly 3 years of experience as a law clerk position and circulation desk assistant within the MTC Library. Served an average of 200+ patrons per day, and responsible for the overall catalogue of the library, under direct supervision of the Head Librarian. Legally, researching LexisNexis, assisted drafting over 500 legal documents, pro se, to include civil and criminal law matters. Nearly 2 years in the installation and service sector of the electrical equipment of the Telecom industry, for the major cell phone carriers in the Northeastern region. Founded the nonprofit organization Looking Out For Little Johnny, Inc. in August 2017, with a mission of providing a support system to the support systems of our at-risk youth through mentorship relationships integrated into a community-led empowerment center. A long term vision for LOFLJ is developing Statewide recognized licensed/ positions for the ex-offender population, both within the prisons/parole and probation, as well as those that do not have a criminal history but are looking for incentives to be more engaged with the at-risk youth, and for certification and licenses for the mentees as well, to assist in career paths and vocational training, through our empowerment center's services.
