About Riddhima Arora

Founder & Creative Director at ree-mee | Co-founder at Reesôme Studio I have spent the last decade working in different capacities and organisations within the design industry. Right from the early stages of my career I have been an integral part of the design teams in a leadership capacity from being the creative lead at Sociowash to building my own all-women design studio. I am also a Senior Lecturer at Pearl Academy my alma mater where I teach Visual Design and Graphics to Post Graduate and Graduate students ranging from editorial design UI/UX etc My modules are around teaching basics of Visual Design Knowledge and enhancement of skills on software. I also teach them Creative Direction. Because of the experiences that I had at an early stage in my career having led a team of 10 people at the age of 23 I was able to get insights into how teams and organisations are built from the ground up how people can climb their way up in the industry with hard work and determination. Today I want to give back and help the generation that is just starting out to build their careers as designers and leaders. I have often felt that there is a growing need for a Visual Design community in India. A community where people can collaborate share their work with others from the same fields network with their community members and most of all grow into their roles in the Visual Design space.
