Hi, I’m Ridhima! It's wild how tiny actions and decisions can set off a chain reaction, shaping the course of our lives. My life is a testament to that. Here’s a little story about how I got here: When COVID hit, my world turned upside down. Within a span of two days, I lost both my dad and my granddad. This incident was so heartbreaking that it made me realise how most of us take life for granted and do not even attempt to be extraordinary. It filled me with a newfound sense of purpose. I wanted to make a difference, to learn, and to contribute. With that drive, I landed an internship at a digital marketing firm. I strategised and generated content for educational websites and starred in the company's YouTube channel. I gave it my all and successfully helped them garner around 100 million* views across channels and platforms. Looking for new ways to challenge myself, I applied for a content writing internship at a LinkedIn personal branding agency. But, within the first week the CEO recognized my knack for critical thinking and analyzing behavioural patterns. This resulted into me transitioning into the company's first BDR. During my tenure, I worked closely with the founder to lay best sales processes and practices. As this evolved into a full-time position, I also covered the founder's office exec role, took care of admin and back-end operations, successfully led hiring for 7 interns and FTEs, and was 1 of the 4 core team members at the company and helped lay internal foundations. Wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, growth oriented service-based start up has taught me relentless effort, discipline, team spirit, and is responsible for my "figure things out" attitude. As much as I learnt being a BDR, it wasn't something I could see myself doing in the future. So, I decided to take a leap of faith. I quit my job, took a break, and reflected on my journey so far. Finally, I found clarity on what path to walk on next: I joined Chore as a Generalist @CEO’s Office to help the world’s best founders focus on things that moves the needle.
