About Rie Burke

With initial career background in digital advertising in Japan, I started off my journey in market research in 2009, as one of the start up members of Research Panel Asia Inc.(100% entity of Voyage Group, now dataSpring) to lead the sales and business development of the online research panel services in Asia. After successfully establishing sales offices in Los Angeles and New York, I relocated to London for office launch in the EMEA region and to oversee the global sales team formed in London, Los Angeles, New York, and Singapore. With Innovate MR, a global online sampling technology firm headquartered in LA, I was in charge of expanding the business into EMEA/APAC region. InnovateMR provides high quality research data from highly engaged online panelists worldwide, known for the extensive coverage not just in the general consumer field but in the hard-to-reach fields like B2B and Healthcare sector. Taking my experience from the market research world and launching new businesses, I now take a business development role at PLAID, a Japanese SaaS company that offers KARTE, a CX platform that allows companies to better understand customer needs with first party data and personalizing customer experience based on data. Our ultimate goal is to take the product and company global in order to offer our sophisticated platform to customers around the world.
