About Rielle Gibson

Hello! My name is Rielle Gibson I am a recent graduate from Jacksonville University where I majored in Geography and obtained a minor in GIS (Geographic Information System). As a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and minor in GIS, I bring a passion for spatial analysis and a solid foundation in utilizing geospatial technologies to solve real-world problems. Throughout my coursework, I gained proficiency in various GIS software packages including ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and remote sensing applications. I have hands-on experience in digitizing geographic data, creating thematic maps, performing spatial analysis, and generating insightful visualizations to support decision-making processes. Following, I have actively participated in internships and completed projects where I applied GIS techniques to map route efficiency, analyze the infrastructure of railroads, and contribute to local planning initiatives within floodplain management. These experiences not only sharpened my technical skills but also honed my ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Looking forward, I am eager to leverage my GIS experience where I can apply my analytical skills to tackle complex spatial challenges while making meaningful contributions to the field of Geographic Information Systems.
