About Rifat Hussein

Rifat has graduated with a BSc. in Psychology and an MSc. in Sport and Exercise Psychology. He now runs his own sport psychology consultancy. Rifat founded Star Mentality because he wanted to provide a valuable service that people can rely on to get real results especially when it matters most. His passion stemmed from his own athletic journey in which he has been competing as an amateur boxer for 16 years. From this, he became aware of how the mind can directly impact physical performances and understood that psychology is a key ingredient for sporting success. However, during his early years as an athlete, he found it difficult to access resources that could help him with the mental side of his sport. This essentially sparked the idea for Star Mentality and built a service where he could be a supportive figure in athletes' lives. Rifat offers 1-to-1 consultancy sessions for junior and adult athletes from amateur to elite level. He also provides workshops aimed at clubs, teams and groups to enhance their performances. Rifat focuses on the client’s needs and values to develop a healthy rapport and help reach their targets. Please get in touch: Email: rifat@starmentality.co.uk Website:
