About Riikka Heinonen

I work as a project manager in a strategic data development project. I am developing Aalto to become more agile, data driven university. I work with impactful data and expore ways to make it accessible and usable for all stakeholders - and beyond. The current projects in my project portfolio have also a very high societal impact. I've also worked as a community platform developer. As an Application Owner I have worked as a System Architect in the development process to design an integration between the community platform (Hivebrite) and the organization's CRM (Microsoft Dynamics, D365). I am a back-up user for Microsoft Azure app. My aim is to develop the best possible practices on how to use the data efficiently and ensure the best data quality. I think my talent flourishes best by being a project leader, I value my team's insights (read: skills, substance and sharing the wider scope of creativity) and together we achieve the best possible performance.
