About Rik Cridland
I am managing director and co-founder of HayPigs!®, home of the multi-award-winning HayPigs!® Guinea Pig Circus™. We design enrichment toys, treats and accessories for guinea pigs, rabbits and other small animals. Our range of bespoke products has a circus theme and is designed to enhance and enrich the everyday lives of small furries and their humans. In 2021 we appeared in series 18 of Dragons' Den. In November 2020, Helen (my wife and co-founder of HayPigs!®) and I also became co-owners of the world’s only regularly published magazine dedicated to pet guinea pigs, aptly named, Guinea Pig Magazine. Since taking charge we have overseen a radical re-brand and re-launch of the magazine. With a team of exceptionally experienced and knowledgeable writers and contributors, we regard it as another opportunity for us to promote the health, happiness, enrichment and welfare of guinea pigs while supporting the guinea pig community.
