Experienced international real estate executive with a proven track record in investment execution, asset management, and fund management. • Being part of CBRE IM’s global Executive Committee, driving strategic growth in the EMEA region: Leading CBRE Investment Management's multi-sector real estate division, overseeing over €40 billion of direct European real estate and responsible for all aspects of investment activity, including acquisitions, dispositions, asset management,(re)development, and asset finance. • Proven leadership and execution: Since taking on his current role, with a true platform approach, Rik has completed over €21 billion in transactions across various asset classes (logistics, office, residential and retail) in the region. He has invested more than €1.6 billion of capex in numerous asset repositioning projects and secured over €10 billion in financing. • Deep expertise in retail real estate: Previously managed, as fund manager, a combined AUM of over €4 billion across Europe. • Client-focused approach: Committed to understanding and meeting the (tomorrow’s) needs of both investor and occupier clients including the platform’s external service providers. • Collaborative and results-oriented: Building strong relationships and driving successful outcomes through teamwork and strategic thinking.
