About Riley Farris

As a recent graduate from the University of Calgary with a degree in Economics and a minor in Management and Society, I have developed a strong foundation in economic, and business theory and analysis. During my time at the university, I honed my skills in data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving, which have served me well in my professional pursuits. In December 2023, I graduated and was eager to apply my knowledge in the real world. I had the opportunity to work as a Business Analyst Intern with EECOL Electric, throughout my studies where I gained valuable experience in analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing data-driven solutions. My success in this role led to my transition into a Sales and Operations Analyst position, where I continue to apply my analytical skills to drive business growth and success. The role allows me to work closely with all levels of the organization and various departments. Working closely with the executive team has allowed me to gain valuable insights into the decision-making process and strategic planning at the highest level of the organization. I am eager to continue growing professionally, leveraging my analytical skills and business acumen to drive success and make a meaningful impact in my future endeavors.
