About Riley Forward

As the Inclusive Education Coordinator and Policy Officer at Hensman Street Elementary and the Chair of the Youth Disability Advocacy Network (YDAN), I am beginning to build my career in fostering inclusive educational environments and advocating for the rights of young people with disabilities. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Psychology at Curtin University, I am developing my interests in positive psychology, neurodiversity, and transformative leadership within both education and disability advocacy.With my classroom and administrative experience, I am eager to support staff in promoting the well-being of all students while exploring effective policy development. I aim to collaborate with colleagues to cultivate a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, and I see my role at YDAN as an opportunity to engage in advocacy efforts that can make a meaningful difference. As I progress in my career, I look forward to implementing strategic initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness in both sectors.
