About Riley Morgan

I'm a Raleigh native and am now an undergraduate at NC State getting my B.S. in biology with a concentration in human biology. I love sports, health, wellness, and the areas where they intersect the most. I highly value personal fitness and love to make it fun as well. I'm a fan of yoga, going to the gym, and sports, soccer and volleyball. I'm a member and former president of the NC State Club Beach Volleyball team.Currently, I work at the community center of Jaycee Park stationed at the front desk giving customers direction, advice, reservations, and memberships. However, my favorite part has to be interacting with the kids when summer camp is in. I also work as a PT tech at BreakThrough Physical Therapy where I assist PTs, work with patients, and keep the space clean in an environment I love.Ever since I was little, I've had a love for science and wanted to use it all my life. In 2022, I was fortunate enough to be selected to be an undergraduate researcher but ultimately decided life in the lab wasn't for me. Instead, I wanted a job that was more patient-oriented and dynamic, and after taking an anatomy class, I felt like a spark had been relit and I had a whole new motivation going forward. Now, my goal is to break my way into the field of human biology with the long-term goal of being a physical therapist.
