About Riley Norris

I started in the medical field at age 15, under the table, filing insurance claims, processing payments, scanning charts into a newly designed EMR system, and learning the basics of healthcare. Since then I have worked from the ground up learning and exceeding in medical records, payment processing, coding, insurance claims, insurance filing, working AR’s, checking in/ checking out, learning medical terminology, anatomy, processes, surgery and test scheduling, etc. I now have over 25 years experience in the medical field through orthopedics, veterinary medicine, ophthalmology, urgent care, family practice, and pain management. I’m always wanting to expand my knowledge and work in an environment where I can grow and learn even more! I love working with people and finding solutions to their problems or the root of their medical complaint(s), and finding a way to help them feel better. I have well rounded knowledge and have been asked many times by my patients and peers why I never went further in school to become a PA or MD. The answer is simple; I wanted a family and to be a mom.
