About Riley Wagle

When I was younger, the medical field always interested me. I have a deep care for others; having a job that can help people is a job that I have always wanted to have. Medical assisting is the career I decided to pursue, and I am currently enrolled in the program at Santa Barbara Business College. Lab time is my favorite time. Being able to practice the skills that we will eventually do in real time is such a wonderful experience. Venipunctures are my favorite thing that we have done thus far, I picked up how to do those and the many different types of injections quite quickly. I am confident in my ability to perform Electrocardiograms and vitals, as well as basic strep test' and urinalysis'. My education is very important to me. I have a perfect attendance record thus far, and I have maintained A's and B's in all my classes. The time spent at my current place of employment has equipped me with many transferable skills! I have learned how to correctly answer the phone and handle any questions, comments, and concerns the caller has, and I have the experience and ability to order inventory for an entire department as well as organizing inventory in the process. I am so excited to graduate and start my career! I hope to go into phlebotomy someday, or even nursing! I never want to stop learning and I hope to take my education even further.
