As a recent graduate with a Master's in International Human Rights and a Certificate in International Humanitarian Assistance, I am eager to leverage my academic achievements and practical experiences to contribute to a dynamic organization. Throughout my studies, I have developed a strong foundation in humanitarian projects and project management, research, data analysis and entry, and international development. During my internship at the International Rescue Committee, I gained valuable hands-on experience in housing, program development, and research. I successfully researched low housing in Denver and created spreadsheets categorizing properties by Area Median Income (AMI) percentage, and location to assist 12 more vulnerable cases. As the first person to undertake this role, I demonstrated problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness in completing assigned tasks effectively. With over 4 years of management experience, I greatly value the time that I have spent in customer service. Starbucks has equipped me with a deep understanding of customer needs and perfected my ability to handle high-volume service efficiently while maintaining a friendly atmosphere and managing 8-12 partners. My tenure in customer service has significantly strengthened my interpersonal communication skills, leadership capabilities within team settings, and proficiency in effectively connecting with diverse individuals.I am committed to helping others through humanitarian aid and development and continuous learning within this field. I actively seek opportunities to further develop my skills in finance analysis, program development, climate change initiatives, and development strategy.
