About Rima Sunit

A chartered accountant by training and a passionate first-generation entrepreneur by choice, my transition into business happened when I co-founded Healthnovo with a trusted colleague in 2020. The purpose behind starting a health venture was to improve access to quality healthcare services in India, and especially in areas away from the city. Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to affordable and reliable healthcare, regardless of their background or location. In our journey, we have launched various innovative initiatives such as the First Mile Clinics, Health ATM technology, and a generic medicine manufacturing and trading unit. Recently, Healthnovo entered the mental health space, where we provide counselling services to college students in Mumbai. This project is conceived and led solely by me, where I plan to apply my learnings in counselling and psychology. Beyond the boardroom, I find joy in the company of my son, who fuels my spirit with his boundless energy. I am passionate about reading and keep a journal about things I found interesting, stuff that catches my attention, quotes that resonate with me and more. A believer in the principle of lifelong learning, I am an alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai and IIMB-NSRCEL flagship program GS-10K for Women Entrepreneurs.
