About Rimsha Hamza

Rimsha is a policy professional and is passionate about governance, welfare systems, education, gender, and urban sociology. She is currently working as a Senior Associate to the Management at Development Solutions, Delhi. She has previously worked as a grant maker at Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiative (Azim Premji Foundation), where she worked with the Welfare State Portfolio. She especially engaged with grants on building community based collectives for rural women. Rimsha has completed her Masters in Public Policy, from National Law School of India, University, Bengaluru. She has also received her Bachelors in Sociology Honors from Hindu College, University of Delhi. Rimsha hopes to learn and grow in the space of livelihood, rural development, gendered policies and social welfare.
