About Rin Leung

I have been building and maintaining websites since 2005, and I have a host of skills relevant to the craft ranging from server builds and linux administration to navigating domain bureaucracies and deploying content over CDNs. I also have a lot of experience building websites from scratch, both with a custom CMS and many of the popular CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla. Throw a PHP framework at me and I will learn it. Being largely self-taught initially I started to find a lot of gaps in my knowledge of coding and computer science and so I enrolled myself in Code Academy to round out my bases. I have completed courses in JavaScript, JQuery, React, Python, PHP, and GitHub over the last few years and often retake my courses to brush up on changes in releases and versions. I'm very familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop and I have a very artistic approach to using them. I can utilize design grids effectively on the one hand and also create realistically rendered art works on the other. I have basic video editing skills on multiple platforms from FinalCut Pro to After Effects, and even Photoshop's video editor functions.
