I'm a human resources professional with a background in technology and data and nine years of experience across all functional areas of HR. I have partnered with executives in HR and other departments on several strategic HR initiatives and projects from initial planning through to final implementation. Examples include- Establishing new and/or overhauling old compensation structures: create and update job descriptions, gather market data and perform benchmarking, check for consistency and equity across various departments, create guidelines and trainings for managers on how to use comp structure in their salary decisions for staff- Managing organization-wide Return to the Workplace initiatives: establish clear guidelines and processes for determining or changing onsite requirements for a given role, work with managers to communicate and use the guidelines classify positions as remote/hybrid/onsite, report on final determinations for facilities purposes, communicate decisions to staff and review appeals to classifications- Overhauling outdated handbooks and employment policies: assess current state of published policies, determine gaps and areas needing updated to comply with new regulations, draft policies and recommend changes, communicate changes to employees and field questions.I'm a bit of an Excel guru and general tech geek. There's nothing I love more than finding ways to use HR technology and systems to help automate and streamline processes, easing administrative burdens on the HR team and freeing up our time and energy to focus on working with employees on the things that can't be handled by a computer.
