About Rina Modi

I am a Transformational and Wellness specialist with an academic background in Psychology. I am in Year 3 of a 3 Year Diploma Training to be a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with two further years of study to become a fully qualified Psychotherapist. I currently work with young people at Risk of becoming NEET in Secondary Schools and work as a Counsellor for Hounslow Youth Counselling. I enjoy working in a Holistic and Person Centred way and use the multitude of skills, tools and techniques gained to create transformation, and help people set and reach goals. I also have youth development and training skills specialising in working with NEET young people. I have over 8 years of experience running skills programmes for 16-25 years olds and have full-filled a variety of roles within the youth space from programme management to coaching young entrepreneurs. Prior to this, I worked as an Account Director in various advertising agencies and as a business development director for a pan-African youth social enterprise. I have years of experience working in a culturally sound and inclusive way. I am educated and well versed in anti-oppressive practice and work hard to ensure my work influences a diverse client group.
