About Rina Thapa

I am a BIM Technician at KC Engineering where I create detailed designs with various software tools and liaise with architects and engineers to ensure quality and accuracy. I have a master's degree in sustainability studies from the University of South Dakota, where I also gained valuable teaching and learning experience as a graduate teaching assistant. My passion for sustainability and environmental health and safety drives me to develop core competencies in design, recycling, and communication. In my current role, I use my skills in REVIT, CAD, Sketchup, Lumion, and Bluebeam Revu to create floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules for construction documents. I collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve potential design issues and comply with safety standards and regulations. In my previous role as an Environment Health Safety Lead at Sanford Health, I supervised the recycling process and led a team of recycling personnel to meet performance targets. I value teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement, and I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the organization.
