If I could represent my marketing style in human form, she would be a wide-eyed, curious little girl sitting on a fence. She’s umming and ahhing, ‘do I jump to the left’ and delve into my analytical side or ‘jump to the right’ and pursue creativity? But that curious little girl doesn't actually belong on either side. She belongs right there, on that fence, using both her methodical and innovative skills - and, of course, her deep questioning abilities - to excel in everything she does.This small anecdote encapsulates why I have pursued a career in Marketing. My brain is wired to understand numbers and analyse them for patterns, but I also love the magic of a brand and how it develops relationships with its consumers. From a young age, I knew I wanted to combine both these passions and working in Marketing has helped me live this out.My previous roles all have one major commonality: they involve a human connection. This spark for communicating with people is a quality that I take into all my marketing endeavours and is a skill I continuously use to help brands grow.To accompany this, unlike the little girl on the fence, I pride myself on being solution-orientated and decisive in my marketing decisions. So here I am, working to ensure that that little girl stays on the marketing fence for many years to come.
