I’m an award-winning Design Director and Product Design Lead originally from Cape Town, South Africa, travelling the world. In my 12+ years of experience, I’ve scaled and led design teams at companies such as Majid Al Futtaim, Barclays, VOX Cinema, Ski Dubai, and The Shoprite Group of Companies to ship digital platforms, multi-language design systems, and effective design solutions for real customer needs. I thrive on establishing solid design system foundations, methodologies, and team practices. My passion lies in building multidisciplinary teams that understand their craft and the intersection between business and design. I closely collaborate with engineering and product teams to scale teams efficiently, nurture creativity, and create digital experiences that evoke emotions, challenge norms, and drive business value.
