I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work in various industries for over 10 years, including leisure and entertainment, engineering, e-commerce, consultancy, testing, and certification. My primary responsibilities have included managing accounts payable and P2P functions, VAT and other tax compliances, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with internal and external audit standards, maintaining budget and cash flow forecasts, and supervising teams. Currently, as an Accounts Payable – Shared Services Center (Supervisor Level) at Miral Experiences LLC, I am responsible for overseeing the AP functions of Shared Services for several amusement parks, including Warner Bros. World, Ferrari World, CLYMB™, Qasr Al Watan, and Yas Waterworld. My expertise lies in managing teams, ensuring timely payments, and working collaboratively with auditors, compliance personnel, and all departments of the company. Previously, as a P2P Specialist at SGS, I successfully improved the payment process with my team, which involved standardizing the accounts payable workflow process and maintaining supplier relationships. I also handled all supplier correspondence and supported the Tax team in VAT-related matters. Additionally, I led the assessment of Internal Control (ICFR) and implemented a control design in compliance with company policy. My experience with smooth month-end and year-end closing processes, clean-up processes, and timely delivery of reports for reviews has equipped me with strong technical skills in the finance industry. Prior to this, I worked as an Accountant at Dubai Trade Link LLC, where I led the finance and admin department for the company's two businesses. Additionally, at Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast LLC, I handled the day-to-day bookkeeping and admin work of nine projects throughout the UAE. In my earlier experience as an Auditor at Pai Kamath & Associates and S.H. Bhalja & Co. in India, I conducted concurrent and stock audits, prepared audit reports, scrutinized loans, verified KYC documents, and prepared income tax returns of clients. I hold a Master's degree in Finance and am a CMA (US) candidate. I have hands-on experience in technical skills such as SAP, Oracle Cloud Application, Tally, and other relevant software. Additionally, I am knowledgeable in accounting standards such as IFRS, GAAP, and VAT. Overall, I am a motivated finance professional with a proven track record of excellence in managing financial operations and processes, complying with regulations and standards, and collaborating with stakeholders.
