A nerd when it comes to words, I occasionally rattle off synonyms mid conversation to find the right one to describe a situation. Colleagues know me for my eagle eye for detail when editing and my ability to communicate using diplomatic diction no matter the situation. I decided to pursue a career in marketing and public relations while working as an intern for a nonprofit in 2015. I knew I wanted to use my communication skills to support organizations and companies I believe in. I’m drawn to roles in which I can use my writing and copyediting (i.e. word nerd) skills and digital communications experience to advance an organization’s mission and goals. Today, I have 8+ years of marketing experience, both in coordinating behavior change campaigns for public health and in leading strategic communications for charitable organizations. I'm adept at devising digital outreach strategy, putting technical information in layperson’s terms in English and Spanish, updating websites using a variety of content management systems, designing graphics in Canva, and managing email newsletters in Constant Contact and Moosend. I specialize in accessible, inclusive, and equitable communication. And I’m experienced with writing and editing in English and Spanish for social media, email marketing, and websites.
