I am the Global Head of Tax at AlTi Global, Inc.(NASDAQ: ALTI) and the President of the Wall Street Tax Association. AlTi is a leading independent global wealth and alternatives manager providing entrepreneurs, multi-generational families, institutions, and emerging next-generation leaders with fiduciary capabilities as well as alternative investment strategies and advisory services. The firm currently manages or advises on over $71 billion in combined assets and has an expansive network with approximately 400 professionals across three continents. As a senior tax leader, strategic thinker, and tax attorney specializing in alternatives investments, global wealth management, and financial services, I have significant hands-on experience in analyzing tax implications of complex private funds, corporate structurings and restructurings, global M&A transactions, and Up-C structures to arrive at optimal tax-efficient solutions, as well as in managing all aspects of the global tax compliance and tax provision processes. Through my roles in public companies (AlTi Tiedemann Global, BlackRock and Citigroup) and in private firms (Cerberus) and by working both in the Tax Department and Front Office (Fixed Income and Equities), I have worked directly and collaboratively with business team members and key stakeholders in arriving at the most commercial and tax-efficient solutions across many asset classes, including Private Credit, Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Hedge Funds, and Fund of Funds.I have leveraged my experience and expertise to build strong global tax teams and platforms from the ground up. In addition to helping achieve meaningful results for funds and investors, I played a key role in mitigating risks and scaling through the creation of operational efficiencies and outsourcing. I believe strongly in being a leader, mentor, sponsor, and partner to all of my colleagues and team members and in utilizing the diversity of team members to constantly brainstorm, create an inclusive culture, and achieve optimal outcomes.
