About Risa Mashimo
After graduating Lancaster University (UK) with MSci Biomedicine degree, I joined Nippon Boehringer Ingelheim as a Trial Clinical Pharmacologist (TCP) in 2024. Being part of the drug research and development has been my dream even before I decided to study abroad in the UK. My scientific interests have always been around the field of oncology, immunology and genetics. I am always amazed by how science can make our lives better when I learn mode of action of new drugs and am very excited to be part of this team to deliver breakthrough drugs to patients in need.
