About Rishabh Mishra

Dr Mishra's background is unique. Having graduated from a medical school in one of the most underserved community in India, he developed a burning desire to continue providing the highest quality of care in a compassionate, comprehensive and safe environment where the patient always comes first. To continue serving the underprivileged he established his clinical base at one of the largest healthcare group in the Bronx, Montefiore Medical Center, where he also served the role of Site director for the Hospital Medicine program. Aside from patient care he is focused towards forging a strong relationship between hospitals, community organizations and patients. His work has spanned in domestic and international settings. His global work has been involved in India where he set up a public healthcare project to tackle the spread of communicable disease in Uttar Pradesh, the middle east in advising scaling up of the EMS response system in Riyadh & Abu Dhabi, to help setting up a specialized cancer care institution in Doha. He serves as an Healthcare advisor to Chairman's office, Reliance Industries Limited, India’s largest private sector company and counsels the Business Council of International Understanding - a non for profit organization based out of New York serving as a strategic partner for global businesses and governments. In his endeavor to make healthcare more accessible and efficient he has worked closely with Soft Bank and Pegasus advising them to invest in building bridges through next gen healthcare opportunities. Apart from providing patient care at Montefiore, he is involved with Luma Group a biotech fund investing in breakthrough healthcare technologies.
