Currently, I am pursuing PhD under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr Vaskar Sarkar in Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India and my research area is "Improving Accuracy and Computational Efficiency of the Load Flow Computation of an Active/Passive Distribution Network". As my research in the field of active distribution network analysis, I have worked on-Developing accurate and efficient load flow algorithm including distributed energy resources(DER)-Modeling and analysis of different characteristic energy resources -Distribution network modeling and load modeling I have gained deep insights in-Optimization -Advance Control System(ACS)-Steady-state power system analysis -Dynamics power system Additionally, I have also worked on two projects: 1) “Review & Evaluation of PI/PID Controller Tuning Techniques for MIMO Industrial Process” 2) “Application of Particle Swarm Optimization in automatic generation control” for ACS and optimization course-work respectively. Furthermore, while working with colleagues I learned the concept of “demand response, integration of renewable energy, forecasting techniques and smart charging of electric vehicle”. In the process, I gained hands-on experience with optimization tools such as CVX, Gurobi and GAMS along with MATLAB. In my post-graduation, I worked in the area of Automatic generation control (AGC) using conventional (Integral/PID) and intelligent control techniques (fuzzy/ANN/GA-fuzzy). I had investigated AGC problem in both conventional as well as deregulated power system scenario. I also worked on energy storage devices and wind power integration into the multi-area power system and its controller design. I am looking for roles in R&D(related to my research area) as well as for Asst. Prof, and will be thankful for any leads and recommendations.
