I have over 17 years of experience in risk management and compliance, predominantly within insurance and banking. Previously, I held senior roles at ASB Bank and Westpac New Zealand where I led teams and developed and executed risk and compliance strategies. I've worked across all three lines of defense. In my previous role, I led the line 2 Risk & Compliance function and coordinated and presented reports to AA New Zealand's Board Audit & Risk Committee, providing insights and recommendations for sustainable risk and compliance solutions, focusing predominantly on ensuring FMC Act compliance and Enterprise Risk Management. I believe in coaching and developing teams, empowering them to achieve their career aspirations and perform at their best. I am also a Board Member and APMG Accredited Trainer at ISACA Auckland, where I provide training for the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) certifications.
